Regulations

§ 1 – Introduction

(1) Cockpitcrew Virtual Pilots Association is a virtual airline internet community.

(2) The membership and registration is free of charge. 

(3) We are a legally registered non-profit-organization belonging  the Sophisticated Culture Foundation CLG, Ireland.

§ 2 – Membership

(1) After registration you hold an account at https://crew.cockpitcrew-vpa.com.

(2) On your request, your account can be deleted at any time including all collected data. For account deletion you need to contact the staff department. 

(3) Upon registration we collect your First and Lastname, your Email, your Homebase Airport ( this must not be your place of residence) and your IP Adresse. You can optionally add your Discord ID, IVAO VID or VATSIM CID in your personal profile. 

(4) Your First Name, the first Letter of your Lastname your IVAO VID, your VATSIM CID is visible on your profile to other members and the public. If you decide to upload a picture to your profile that shows you, then you agree that other users or the public can see this uploaded picture within your public profile.   

§ 3 – Requirements

(1) At the time of registration, you must have achieved the age of 16 years.

(2) You need to speak and write the English language properly.

§ 4 – Activity

(1) Members need to file a pilot report via the smartCars software once per 360 days. If not, your account will be set to inactive.

(2) Inactive accounts will not be removed. To be set to active again, you need to contact the staff department.

§ 5 – Transfer hours

(1) You can transfer up to 1000 hours from online networks IVAO & VATSIM.

(2) You can transfer up to 500 hours from another virtual airline.

(3) Maximum amount of transfer hours is 1000.

§ 6 – Ranking system

(1) Every Pilots start as Captain.

(2) At 100 flight hours you become Senior Captain.

(3) At 500 flight hours you become Chief Captain.

(4) All Pilots get granted the ability to add own routes and schedules.

(5) All pilots can fly all aircrafts.

§ 7a – Rules

(1) Any form of glorification of violence, sexism, racism, insults, calls for violence or criminal offenses, or other discrimination result in the immediate suspension or deletion of the user account. 

(2) Users shall have basic knowledge of aviation procedures. This includes but is not limited to flight procedures, airspaces, radio-telephony.

(3) CCVPA prohibits all forms of criminal activity and dissemination/transmission of harmful information including, but not limited to, pornography, grooming, sexual propositions, inappropriate behaviour, and sexual innuendos which are outlined in our  Safeguarding Policy to assist in prevention. Users may face sanctions up to and including a referral for criminal prosecution. Reasonable attempts for parental notification of minor victims shall be made and for minor suspects, considered.

(4) Simulation of real world ethnic, political or religious conflicts or problems including simulation of any form of war or aggression, are strictly prohibited.

(5) Recording/streaming/sharing of user identifiable data, in violation of the privacy policy, is prohibited. Users cannot record/stream/share private conversations without the consent of the participants of that conversation. 

§ 7b – Pilot Reports (PIREPs)

(1) It is mandatory to track each flight with smartCars if you book that flight within our Crew Area.

(2) You can report manual PIREPS at anytime if a particular tracked flight has been not tracked properly, or you encountered an Simulator chrash.

(3) Manual PIREP reports cannot be filed, if  users forgot to start their ACARS.

(4) Be aware CCVPA is YOUR personal Flight Log. We do not have any Awards, or any other benefits of collecting hours. Reporting false manual PIREPS will not give you any benefits or better reputation.

§ 7c – Supported aircraft

We support any Aircraft that you wish to fly. You can request it within our Discord.

§ 7d – Supported Routes

We support any Route that you wish to fly. You  can add it yourself or request it within our Discord.

§ 8 – Agree to our GDPR, Privacy Policy & Disclaimer
(1) It is mandatory to accept our GDPR |Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and the Regulations. With your registration you confirm that you have read and understood them. You can find all links below in the footer Navigation.
